Marios Panteliadis - piano

The pianist Marios Panteliadis was born in Athens, Greece. He attended the Athens Conservatory, studying under the guidance of Derembey Papastayrou and graduating with the highest honors. He moved to Italy to pursue his musical studies and he graduated with the highest honors at the Conservatorio "Santa Cecilia" in Rome and at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia under the guidance of Sergio Perticaroli. He has participated in many masterclasses with leading pianists like R. Luck, F. Clidat, W. G. Naboré and L. Zilberstein.

He completed the postgraduate course held by Noel Flores at the Universität für Musik in Wien and he also studied with E. Virsaladze in Fiesole. Subsequently he completed the MMus programme in piano performance with distinction at the Royal Academy of Music in London under the guidance of Tatiana Sarkissova, with the support of the Onassis and Leventis Foundations in Greece. In addition to his piano diplomas, Marios Panteliadis has a Bachelor degree in orchestral conducting from Rome Conservatory “Santa Cecilia”, completed under the guidance of Dario Lucantoni.

He has been awarded numerous first and special prizes in various international piano competitions in Greece, Italy and France (Epinal Piano Competition). He has performed in many concerts; his most important performances have been in the Auditorium “Parco della Musica” in Rome, at the Auditorium “Megaron” in Athens, at the Concert Hall of Sydney Opera House and in the Glaserner Saal at Musikverein in Wien.

Since 2012, he is piano's professor in the pre-academic programme at the Conservatorio "Santa Cecilia" in Rome. Currently, he is also Piano professor in Conservatorio "Perosi" of Campobasso.
