Marios Panteliadis - piano
 

The pianist Marios Panteliadis was born in Athens, Greece. He attended the Athens Conservatory, studying under the guidance of Derembey Papastayrou, and graduating with the highest honors. He moved to Italy to pursue his musical studies and he graduated with the highest honors at the Conservatorio "Santa Cecilia" in Rome, and at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia under the guidance of Sergio Perticaroli.

He has participated in many masterclasses with leading pianists like R. Luck, F. Clidat, W. G. Naboré and L. Zilberstein. He then completed the postgraduate course held by Noel Flores at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien. He also studied with E. Virsaladze in Fiesole and Aldo Ciccolini; furthermore, he obteined the Master of Music with T. Sarkissova at the Royal Academy in London. Additionally, he has concluded his studies in orchestral conducting at the Conservatory in Rome with Dario Lucantoni.
He has been awarded numerous first and special prizes in various international piano competitions in Greece, Italy and France. He has performed in many concerts; his most important performances have been in the Auditorium “Parco della Musica” in Rome, at the Auditorium “Megaron” in Athens, at the Concert Hall of Sydney Opera House and in the Glaserner Saal at Musikverein in Wien.

Currently he is a professor of piano in the pre-academic programme at the Conservatorio "Santa Cecilia" in Roma, Italy.
